About KIC fridges in Harare
KIC is a South African fridge and freezer brand that has been sold in Zimbabwe for generations. Most KIC fridges in Harare are mechanical double door or single door models with a thermostat, a static evaporator and a standard reciprocating compressor, and KIC chest freezers are the classic design with the evaporator in the walls and a thermostat in the control box. Newer KIC models are no frost and electronic.
