Display freezer repairs: what goes wrong
Display freezers have to hold minus 18 or colder while showing the product through glass and being opened constantly by customers. The glass lids carry heaters to stop them misting, the wells have evaporators in the walls or a fan assisted coil, and the condensers are usually at floor level where they collect every bit of dust in the shop.
