Combi fridge repairs: what goes wrong
Combi fridges are efficient and quiet when they work, but their electronics make them the fridge type most affected by Harare's power problems. Why is there ice at the bottom of my freezer drawer?+
The defrost drain has blocked or frozen, so melt water runs into the drawer and freezes instead of draining to the evaporation tray. We clear the drain, check the drain heater where fitted and look for the reason it froze in the first place.
